I had started this book long time back。 Amazing read。 As author himself conceded that it would be ideal to follow all the habits at the same time, we can atleast try to follow as much as we can to get maximum benefits。 Private victory precedes Public victory。 All habits are described with examples。 Each habit is described with great detail。 Very good self help book。 I’m planning to read it again in near future。

This book is amazing! I will be reading again because you can't get everything the first (or probably the second) time。 There is a reason this book has remained popular and why it is so successful, simple and easy to do techniques。 Highly recommend this read! Very enlightening!Definitely a book you need to read more than once to fully integrate the knowledge within but it makes so much sense and feels like a great way to improve not only your own life but the lives of those around you。 I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to get more out of life。

Stephen R。 Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a must-read book that forces the reader to look inside themselves and evaluate not only their habits but the principles underpinning those habits。 Covey's principle-centric approach to being an "effective" person is unique and paradigm-shifting。 It's an inspiring and impactful read that left me hungry for improvement and critical of the principles on which I base my life。 Covey emphasises deeper foundations to success and gets readers Stephen R。 Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a must-read book that forces the reader to look inside themselves and evaluate not only their habits but the principles underpinning those habits。 Covey's principle-centric approach to being an "effective" person is unique and paradigm-shifting。 It's an inspiring and impactful read that left me hungry for improvement and critical of the principles on which I base my life。 Covey emphasises deeper foundations to success and gets readers thinking about the groundwork for success, rather than the specific methods involved。 The principles are timeless and universal, more akin to "laws of effectiveness"。 I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and learned a lot; I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in laying the foundations to success rather than following specific methods。 。。。more

A remarkable, unexpected book that is surprisingly about living from principles and values, and the fundamental importance of integrity。

I am not a regular reader of this genre, but these books are a part of those category that eventually becomes mustreads。 You don't need to read all the books in this category, but you need to read some of them。 In the end, they all will try to prove one point。 Sometimes, it even feels like we knew that point or those points long ago anyway; why read this book? What does it have to offer that I didn't know before。 If you are asking that sort of questions while reading books like this, and if you I am not a regular reader of this genre, but these books are a part of those category that eventually becomes mustreads。 You don't need to read all the books in this category, but you need to read some of them。 In the end, they all will try to prove one point。 Sometimes, it even feels like we knew that point or those points long ago anyway; why read this book? My experience with these kind of books is that a big part is always rather obvious and there just a few tips that I think are interesting that I can actually use。 And most of these books are having kind of same structure。 The personal philosophy of the author, their success stories (rarely ever is mentioned failure of their philosophy) and a lot of quotes, especially towards the end of the book。 This book is no exception。 For me it was tough to get through, and I was sometimes thinking of what w My experience with these kind of books is that a big part is always rather obvious and there just a few tips that I think are interesting that I can actually use。 And most of these books are having kind of same structure。 The personal philosophy of the author, their success stories (rarely ever is mentioned failure of their philosophy) and a lot of quotes, especially towards the end of the book。 This book is no exception。 For me it was tough to get through, and I was sometimes thinking of what was described really helps or really has happened。 For example, the author described he sat down with his family to write down a mission statement for the family。 Maybe it's something culture, but if this would have happened when I was kind, I'd probably laughed at my parents and walked away。 I can hardly imagine that this is happening in other families。 I also don't like the fact that in the book, there's little scientific base of the statements。 I have a hard to time to take the author's word for granted, and I hoped that there would input for a psychologic point of view for example。 I probably won't read it again。 But it might be worth reading it once, and pick the things that are useful for you。 。。。more

Finished about 40% of the book, couldn't read it any further。 The author uses many words that either don't carry any meaning or are just standard self-help platitudes and clichés (tell yourself positive affirmations etc)。 The only interesting thought I took from the book was the P-PC balance (production - production capability balance): if you prioritize production, your production capability will deteriorate and you will not be able to support the level of production in the long term (e。g。 over Finished about 40% of the book, couldn't read it any further。 The author uses many words that either don't carry any meaning or are just standard self-help platitudes and clichés (tell yourself positive affirmations etc)。 The only interesting thought I took from the book was the P-PC balance (production - production capability balance): if you prioritize production, your production capability will deteriorate and you will not be able to support the level of production in the long term (e。g。 overworking and then burning out)。 If your prioritize production capability over production, you are only preparing and never actually achieving any results (e。g。 studying for half your life and not practicing the things you study)。 。。。more

Es una lectura que sugiero hacer pausadamente pues se presta a la reflexión y además trae varios ejercicios para empezar a aplicar para ir aplicando a cada hábito。

This was a very long and studious read。 I had to keep stopping to write things down and to implement the ideas that were shared。 Stephen Covey highlights how to rewire the mind, how to create a "core" self in principle and mission。 How to powerfully connect through cultivating empathy。 I can go on。 I've taken many notes and created some future goals, in connection to this book。 I recommend this material as a must-read。 It is an in-depth read, but worth the time it takes to study this content。 This was a very long and studious read。 I had to keep stopping to write things down and to implement the ideas that were shared。 Stephen Covey highlights how to rewire the mind, how to create a "core" self in principle and mission。 How to powerfully connect through cultivating empathy。 I can go on。 I've taken many notes and created some future goals, in connection to this book。 I recommend this material as a must-read。 It is an in-depth read, but worth the time it takes to study this content。 。。。more
